Chasing Zest is an inspirational website that was founded by Rachael Bruford in June 2017. This online magazine publishes articles about the outdoors, fitness, travel, nutrition, and wellness, and aims to create a community of like-minded individuals who can help one another and share experiences. Chasing Zest aims to inspire an active, outdoor lifestyle in the Middle East & beyond.
We wanted to create an energetic brand that would inspire its readers to lead a more active lifestyle. The United Arab Emirates’ natural landscape inspired the use of blues and orange, while the font embodies the energy of the brand. A secondary logo includes an animated figure comprising of the initials ‘C’ and ‘Z’. Textures of sand, as well as an arabesque design, add to the brand aesthetic.

As somebody who knows nothing about graphic design, I decided to make use of Maha’s services for Chasing Zest. Communication was always swift and easy, from the initial mood board stage right up to the delivery of files. Maha seemed to know exactly what I wanted and came up with a range of options for me to choose from. It turned out to be a hard choice, as I loved them all! Any amendments were done quickly, and Maha’s knowledge of which colours worked together was invaluable. I have had nothing but positive feedback from readers and clients, and really wish I had such a talent! I later had some marketing collateral, such as flyers, a roll up and a gazebo produced, all of which Maha assisted with to ensure the printing was top quality. I look forward to working with Maha in the future!
